I just realized I have not posted our latest news: our moving dates! Our first day as Vera Lloyd staffers is June 27. We will be pulling out of Salina on June 24 and moving in that Saturday and Sunday, June 25-26. Our first two weeks will be training classes and observations of the other Family Teachers and then mid-July, we will be released into the Barton Home all on our own! (Yikes!) My last Sunday at FCC will be May 29 as we will be taking a vacation and packing for the remaining weeks until our departure from Salina. Your prayers are much needed and very appreciated.
Michael and I are very excited to share that we have accepted a job together as Family Teachers at Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home and Family Services in Monticello, Arkansas! You can visit Vera Lloyd's website here and get a tiny glimpse of the awesome ministry that exists on its campus. We were able to visit the campus last Thursday and Friday and have been spending time in prayer individually and as a couple until last night when we came to the place where we both knew this truly is where God has been leading us the whole time.
